We have lots of fun manifesting money in my workshops and seminars. Money is energy, like everything else. Money can mean whatever you want it to mean. In my work we choose to believe that money is a physical expression of positive energy. Money can mean freedom, prosperity, and love. The gratitude that comes from manifesting money can be very meaningful. (For example, we always encourage participants to tithe at least 10% of their manifestations to helping others.)
There's always an ongoing discussion about the negative beliefs regarding money that have been instilled in us from the time we are very small. It's helpful if you can identify some of those beliefs for yourself. For example, money is the root of all evil, or money doesn't grow on trees, etc. If you think money is evil, you'll have trouble manifesting it, of course. No matter what your conscious mind is telling you, those subconscious beliefs will win every time where money is concerned. Just acknowledging those beliefs, bringing them into the light is the first step toward eliminating them.
So how do we navigate around those negative beliefs, until we're ready to release them for good? It's too simple, really. We just HAVE FUN with it! That's the main reason that we have an on-going $100 bill manifestation marathon. It's just FUN! :)
How does it work? We simply envision $100 bills showing up in our lives--from unexpected sources.
For starters...as utterly wacky as it sounds, we all develop a crush on Ben. You know...Ben. Ben Franklin? His picture is on every $100 bill. Go get yourself at least one $100 bill and stick it up on your mirror. Everytime you see Ben, look at him like you adore him, and say, "I love you, Ben!"
Obviously the goal of this wackiness is to short-circuit our negative beliefs, so that we can place our energy on abundance. It really is a great exercise that can dramatically shift your beliefs about money.
We also use positive affirmations. Here are some that we use:
It's so much fun having all of this money.
Money is attracted to me like a magnet.
Or the variation: It's hilarious how money is attracted to me like a magnet.
Speak one of these affirmations aloud and see how it FEELS to you. If you feel a little uncomfortable saying "Money is attracted to me like a magnet.", you can usually short-circuit that negativity by making it MORE FUN and saying: "It's hilarious how money is attracted to me like a magnet."
Place your energy on these affirmations several times a day and watch what happens. You'll start finding money on the street, you'll receive unexpected checks in the mail, there are all sorts of ways that money will just seem to show up. Imagine yourself in a shower of $100 bills. Enjoy it!
I did this exercise many years ago and actually manifested someone showing up at my door unexpectedly and handling me an envelope with 25 $100 bills in it.

Creating your NEW LIFE for 2011!
January is always an exciting time, a time of letting go of the old and welcoming new possibilities. Letting go of 2010 will probably not be too difficult for most people. If you are alive, you know that the past year brought many challenges to many people. It’s time now to clear the past and allow yourself to create a MIRACULOUS life in 2011.
As a life coach and author, I meet many people, all in various stages of growth and success. The vast majority of these people want to expand their lives into new, more productive, more abundant places. No matter what state that you find yourself in as you are reading this, the fact that you are reading this tells us that you are probably ready for your life to expand. You’re ready to shine—in every area of your life.
As I discuss in my book, LET’S MANIFEST MIRACLES!, the path to success and happiness is much simpler than you think. If you’ve ever heard of the Law of Attraction, you know that your thoughts and energy create your world. In its most straightforward definition, this clear-cut way to expansion is all about asking and receiving. You’ve heard the phrase “Ask and you shall receive” many times. But have you every completely grasped the amazing truth about this statement? The reality of the statement actually seems to defy reality: it’s TRUE! All you have to do is ASK!!!
Now before you try to tell yourself that this is too simple, let me ask you a question. What are you asking for in your life right now? Are your thoughts and energies focused on creating your perfect future? How much of your energy is focused on the clearly-stated outcome that you have chosen? In my workshops and coaching, it becomes sadly clear very quickly that most people are focusing the vast majority of their energy on the negativity in their lives. They’re not even trying to ASK for what they truly desire. They are mired in the negativity of their past.
Let’s take the concept of “asking” one step farther. In LET’S MANIFEST MIRACLES!, I state that according to the laws of physics/energy, you are always creating energetic vibrations that are “picked up” by the universe. These vibrations attract the people, places, and things that will appear in your future. Now let’s combine this concept with the concept of “asking”. If you’re always transmitting this energy that is based on your vibration, the bottom line is that you’re ALWAYS “asking”, whether you are conscious of it or not. Your thoughts and energy let the universe know what you would like to attract into your life. Since the universe always delivers what you ask for, you will receive whatever it is that you energy is focused on.
What are YOU focused on right now? Are you aware of the energy that you are sending out into the universe? Are you unaware and simply living your life on “auto-pilot?” How much of your day is spent in a positive energy state, signaling the universe for your planned expansion into more joy and prosperity? How much of your day is spent spinning in the old patterns that have dictated your life for too long? How much of your day are you ASKING for more negativity?
My simple advice to you is this: Stop everything that you are doing and take a few moments to create a clear, precise vision of the Miracle Life that you would like to create in 2011. Ask yourself what is truly important to you and put those thoughts in your vision. Keep it positive, keep it in the present tense. If you’re not exactly sure what to write about your new career, for example, just say “I love making so much money in a career that is so perfect for me”. It only takes a few simple sentences to get yourself clear and focused on your new life.
When you have completed your vision, take back control of your energy and use it to focus on your upcoming miraculous life. When you feel yourself slipping into negativity, STOP and shift your focus to your positive, miraculous vision. Enjoy thinking of it, enjoy the realization that it will soon be reality in your life. Keep your energy in a positive, inspiring state. Know that you are “asking”, and that you will absolutely “receive”. Know that your new life has already begun.
I know how simple this sounds, and I also know the miraculous results that my students and clients are having, just by using this simple secret. Try it today. Get your energy out of the gutter and back on track to magnificence. Live the life you were born to live!
